How to Get Chest Muscles
One of the most impressive parts of the male physique is the pectoral muscles - the chest. Look at Arnie, that guy had a huge chest and it looked good on him too. Straight out of the mouth of an ex powerlifter, come bodybuilder, I give you in this article the best ways to build a massive chest.

Increase the Bench!

Obviously one of the main exercises for your chest is the bench press. You need to make sure that over time your bench press increases by 20 - 30kg per year, even more when you're just starting out. Make sure that your arms are fairly wide on the bar too - the wider your arms, the more your chest is used to lift the bar as opposed to your triceps.

Weighted Dips

Hailed as the upper body squats, weighted dips should be one of the main exercises in your chest routine. You want to make sure that you can almost dip your own bodyweight. I've seen guys who can dip their bodyweight +90kg for a couple of reps. You better believe that these guys had big and impressive chest muscles.

Heavy Flies

If you ever wanted an exercises that would isolate the chest muscles then this is it. Heavy flies are undoubtedly a great addition to any routine. You should do the flies to finish your chest off at the end of the routine, and really hammer it hard. You can even do it as a drop set if you're tough enough - don't forget that exercises as a drop set will burn like nothing else!

To Gain Lots of Muscle

If you're serious about bulking up then I'll always suggest that you read No Nonsense Bodybuilding because this gives you one of the most powerful routines for building muscle along with diet plans that will get you in great shape. Remember, all these little extra things you're doing that other people aren't will make you stand out from the crowd.
